Our Ambassador program is a great opportunity to align your brand with a purpose-driven cause, and further GUWI’s work through global and local community events and on social media platforms.
What does a Charity Ambassador do?
This is a voluntary role which involves: – inspiring people to support the charity – educating people about what we do – increasing the geographical reach of the Society.
Some common responsibilities of a Charity Ambassador include: Representing a Charity cause as an expert on its’ service. Creating successful initiatives to promote a Charity event. Writing and scheduling event and social media posts
Charity Ambassador programs are a great way to increase good causes in the communities. By building a community with the help of the Charity Ambassadors, it positions an Charity Event as an authentic cornerstone of the community while helping them engage and retain good causes.
Volunteering as a Charity Ambassador would give you the chance to give back to the community here at our global and local communities. It’s important to get involved at your local community and share your knowledge and personal experiences with others through good causes.

Development Associate
We are looking for an energetic Development Associate to help the organization strategically achieve its mission, drive new sources of revenue, and build relationships with new stakeholders while maintaining those already established across the healthcare sector.
You will assist the Co-Directors with:
Developing a revenue mix to ensure the organization’s sustained growth.
- Supporting planned activities such as professional and fundraising events,
- Identifying new development opportunities and potential partners.
Your attendance at biweekly or monthly meetings will be expected. We anticipate a minimum of 5 to 10 hours of your time will be needed each week.
If you strive tackling complex problems under minimal supervision, and value collaborative work, this opportunity is made for you! We foster a participative space where everyone can contribute to the extent they desire, and will provide proper onboarding and needed support.
The successful applicant will be resourceful and motivated to grow the Foundation’s outreach. Prior non-profit experience is strongly desirable along with proficiency in financial analysis, and familiarity with relevant software (e.g., CRM platforms, Google Analytics).

Lead Virtual Classes
Lead Virtual Classes for Volunteer lovers: Subject of your Charity Choices! Facilitator role: Lead a virtual interactive class on flexible recurring basis during the day, evening or weekend for Everyone on the planet Earth on a topic of Charity in your interest. All you need is a topic, ability to lead either regular or sporadic recurring classes for one hour and an interest in interacting w/everyone on the planet Earth. While most classes are in English we also look for volunteers to lead classes in French, Germany, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Cambodia, Thailand, Lao, Indonesian, Malaysian, India, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, v.v… and others languages in the World. We will supply the training and login info. Share your interests in multitude of topics spanning over 15 categories that could include history, news, the Arts, wellness, brain games, travel, social sciences, and much more!
It’s a great way to volunteer and have personal interaction while gaining skills and sharing your interests. After brief intro interview, a few forms and then a one-hour training/orientation you’ll be on your way to being a Facilitator! No prior experience leading classes is necessary.

Graphic Designer Volunteer
As a Graphic Design volunteer, you will have the opportunity to use your creative and technical skills and gain design and marketing experience, while producing engaging materials and campaigns that showcase our organizational mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. You will support the Marketing & Communications Department by helping with the design and branding of in-house and educational materials, as well as service materials for our clients under the direction of the Creative Design Manager.

Event Planner Volunteer
Description
Are you the go-to point person for every exciting event? Are you passionate about designing and overseeing events and fundraisers, and finding creative solutions to problems? If so, GUWI Charity Ambassador has a great opportunity for you.
Our organization is seeking passionate and articulate individuals to assist with event planning initiatives on behalf of our organization. Ideal candidates will be seeking a long-term volunteer role, with strong communication and organization skills, and the ability to positively influence. We currently have a schedule for quarterly online silent auctions in combination with a themed online event. There are many different positions to be filled for these ongoing events.
This is a great opportunity to expand your portfolio and assist with a great cause! Volunteers in this role will collaborate with GUWI’s Public Relations committee to align on desired content for social media. However, Event Planning volunteers will not be responsible for the content creation of marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of event planning, meeting strict deadlines and budget demands
Planning the logistics of various GUWI events, including establishing deadlines, finalizing supplies lists, setting fundraising goals, and coordinating catering/donations
Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on the event day
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven success as an event planner or coordinator
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to handle pressure and make split-second decisions
Works well as part of a team, demonstrates initiative, and solves problems independently
Experience collaborating within Google Drive
Time Commitment:
Flexible, 2-4 hours per week. Applicants who are able to schedule more hours typically gain more in-depth experience.
Although this is an unpaid volunteering opportunity that does not include benefits or an offer of employment, this opportunity allows you to:
